Do you have a favorite character that you’ve written?
I have a few; they switch depending on what is happening with their lives. Right, now it would Gavril Dakhla the Saka Guardian in the Myth Series. Gavril has an unimaginable past and a legacy no one would ever want to fulfill.
What time of day is the most productive for you?
Morning, after a silly grouping of rituals, I clean my work area, light a candle, grab a drink, and play a quick game of smurfs (yes smurfs)
Do you remember your very first professional review? If so, was it good or bad?
I have only had a couple since Blood Myth is my first book and just release, so yes I remember. It was good and amazed me that someone actually got what I was trying to say in the story. Blood Myth is not an ordinary romance story and I was a bit nervous, no one would understand the moral of the story. That love is the most dominant and submissive feeling anyone can have and no matter who you may think you are in the relationship, for it to work you have to accept you are both.
Twilight or 50 Shades of Gray? Neither
What’s your favorite Disney movie? Dumbo
When I was growing up, I wanted to be Laura Ingalls from The Little House on the Prairie. Was there someone like that for you? Samantha from Bewitched (reruns), always wanted to wiggle my nose and make magic happen.
How much time do you spend on research? Depends on what I am writing but generally my research is never done, I always find new stuff to add to future projects or to the series.
Describe your writing process.
I am probably one of the most unorganized people alive with writing. But I have habits, I start bios, then just start writing and change it a million times, then research to make sure what is in my head makes sense.
